Not a Jungle is the newsletter of Tzvi Kilov, a rabbi/writer exploring the wild frontiers of authentic Jewish thought. Tzvi received ordination from the Rabbinical College of America but doesn’t write like it. He firmly believes that if Torah-true Judaism has survived the destruction of its temple, pogroms, the Spanish Inquisition, the holocaust, the ascendancy of reform and secularism, and the aesthetics of religious Jewish pop music, it will still stand even if we approach an idea or two from a new and experimental angle. Consider this newsletter, like the website that birthed it, a kick of the tires on the Heavenly Chariot.
